Room 11 is a trendy hipster bar in DC and the trendy hipster thing to do now is "pop up" restaurants. Informal quickly setup temporary restaurants that are a novelty experience to people into that sort of thing. I don't think this is a plausible lead.

Not exactly. It might have been my mistake for not making my initial reply clearer, but I said I don't believe this is conclusive evidence either. Still, it could be an interesting lead, and there is absolutely no reason to overreact and brush it off like this.

Besides, in the context of the screenshot, referring to a restaurant just wouldn't fit. And yes, a hole refers to a shitty place too. But it also refers to a - dare I say it - hole in the ground.

I'm on the west coast, but if someone wants to chip in for gas money, I could probably hand deliver a complaint in 3-3.5 days. Of course, if enough of us e-mail a complaint that includes the instagram pics, the bureaucracy would be forced to move. With enough attention/complaints code enforcement will have to do an on-site inspection. We should be sure to recommend inspectors have a police escort.

This is exactly what I was trying to get at. That map shows the path of old underground tunnels in DC, that are no longer officially used for anything.

All these businesses run along this route. I think they're digging to create an underground child trafficking railroad, of sorts - and joking about the abuse in public.

Ok, problem solved.

The other stuff I see in this sub looks promising, but when they mention

, that's strengthening the foundation under where they've dug the hole, although there's also a request for them not to do that (kinda weird).

And the pop-up probably refers to a

</a>
, and since this is a restaurant or bar, that makes sense for a new addition or remodel. It makes it easier to wash down the floors (blood from the sacrifices?).

So this is pretty much a dead end. He just wants to know if there's room enough to add a floor drain in that hole before they fill it and reslab it. At least that's what it appears to be to me.
