I followed the instructions from the Software Freedom Law Center [1] to convert to a Centralized structure where possible, for easier future maintenance. Openrc will create a cgroup hierarchy called openrc which will have all
services it starts and all subsystems attached to it. If you need other
groups/hierarchies, please use libcgroup.
